Frequently Asked Questions
Permanent Makeup
How do I know which brow technique is right for me?
Every client is different. During your consultation, we'll evaluate your facial features, skin type, natural brow pattern, lifestyle, and beauty goals to recommend the technique best suited for you. You're also welcome to text us a clear photo of your brows for a complimentary digital brow assessment.
How long do Permanent Makeup results last?
Most results last 1–3 years, depending on the procedure, skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routine, and overall health. A color boost is recommended when noticeable fading occurs.
Does Permanent Makeup hurt?
Most clients describe the procedure as very tolerable. A topical anesthetic is applied throughout the appointment to maximize comfort.
How long is the appointment?
Most initial appointments take 2.5–3.5 hours, including consultation, customized design, the procedure, and aftercare instructions.
What is the healing process like?
Healing varies from person to person, but generally follows this timeline:
Days 1–3: Color appears darker and more defined.
Days 4–7: Light flaking or peeling is normal.
Weeks 2–3: Color may appear lighter or patchy.
Week 4: Pigment settles into a softer, more natural result.
Weeks 4–6: A perfecting touch-up is required.
Why is a touch-up necessary?
A perfecting touch-up reinforces color, refines healed results, and improves longevity. Scheduling your touch-up within 4–6 weeks is the client's responsibility.
Can I get Permanent Makeup if I already have previous tattooing?
It depends on the existing pigment, shape, and saturation. An assessment is required to determine whether a refresh, correction, or removal is recommended.
Can Permanent Makeup look natural?
Absolutely. Every procedure is customized to your facial features, natural hair pattern, skin type, and desired style. Results can range from extremely natural to more defined depending on your preferences.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Detailed pre-care instructions will be provided after booking. In general, avoid alcohol, excessive caffeine, blood-thinning medications (unless prescribed), and follow all preparation guidelines to help achieve the best results.
Who is not a good candidate?
Certain medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin conditions, recent cosmetic procedures, or other health factors may require postponing treatment or medical clearance.
Can I send a photo before booking?
Yes. You're welcome to text a clear photo of your brows, lips, or eyeliner area for a complimentary digital assessment. While this provides a general recommendation, your final design will always be customized in person.
